Disposal of Fullness (2024)


Disposal of Fullness is a process in dressmaking of easing or gathering in fabric as a way of adjusting or reducing the volume of garments. 

Ideas  embedded in this body of work, relate to female experience, control and constraint, the older woman, life experience – fragility, perseverance and resilience. 

The work was supported by The Arts Council of Northern Ireland Major Individual Award.
